The cards provide a creative and accessible way to explore family dynamics with clients, helping to bring patterns and experiences into the room that may otherwise be difficult to identify or put into words.

Clients can use the cards to explore the roles played by themselves and others within their family, consider whether they continue to take on similar roles today, and reflect on the choices and possibilities available to them now.

• 2 sets of 40 illustrated character cards, depicting 40 different family roles divided into four categories: Helpless, Control, Performer and Rescuer
   
• 5 red and 5 yellow cards designed to help explore the options available when we recognise that we still play these roles today

• Detailed guidelines for using the cards in therapeutic practice
