Dr
Chris Andrew FFARCS MRCPsych trained as a medical doctor
and practised in the fields of General Medicine, Anaesthetics, General
Practice, Child Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry before setting up
a private practice in London in 1984. As a committed Christian he sought
to combine his medical and psychological understanding with spiritual insight.
His research brought him into contact
with Dr Frank Lake and his interest in pre-and peri-natal trauma.
Chris worked for some time with Wholeness Through
Christ, then began to run training courses in the 1980s at Bedford
and Scargill House in Yorkshire. His teaching covered areas such
as Transactional Analysis. Gestalt Therapy, Inner Healing and Primal
Integration Therapy, along with spiritual dynamics.
In 1993 Chris began designing and running courses
at Mulberry House, developing the area of primal integration, subsequently
called 'Deep Release'. He is widely acknowledged as an excellent
teacher and has led workshops for many churches and Christian organisations
around the country, including seminars for 'Christians In Caring
Professions', which he helped establish in this country. He ran
a series of training seminars entitled 'Healing Wounded Hearts'
at Mulberry House, where he also taught on Biblical issues with
Rev Chris Hill and Rev Paul Ogle. Chris is currently part of a Foetal
Memory Research Group. He is an imaginative communicator and his
training style is highly visual and creative.
Pauline Andrew is a Counsellor (ACC accredited) and Supervisor (Diploma). She has an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy and runs her own private practice in Essex.
Pauline runs regular Regional Training Days across the country for groups of counsellors, helping them increase their counselling skills and developing creative approaches to therapy. With Chris she writes and produces the material for the training courses and is a highly experienced and popular trainer, both in the UK and Europe. Her relaxed, interactive and humorous style make learning easy and the courses memorable. She is currently teaching the 2-year Counselling Diploma course for the Barnabas Training Consortium at Pilgrim's Hall in Brentwood.
Pauline has written most of the booklets in the Deep Release Publications series. They are simply produced and inexpensive to buy, with many suitable for clients as well as counsellors.
She is a member of the Association of Christian Counsellors, the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, the International and UK Society for the Study of Dissociation, the Association of Pre- and Perinatal Psychology and Health, and the Trauma and Abuse Group (TAG).
Pauline has previously been a translator, an I.T. trainer, a Tour Operator, a Marketing Manager and Conference Administrator. She and Chris have been married for 22 years.

Liz Comben is our Office Manager. Liz trained in massage therapy and has a Certificate in Counselling.. She has several years experience in conference management and administration, and is also a food advisor for Sainsburys!Liz is an active member of Abundant Life Church in Chiswick.

Roger
Moss is a retired Consultant Psychiatrist, who spent a major
part of his time in the Health Service developing community mental
health services and staff support. He is Chair of the Bridge Pastoral
Foundation (formerly Clinical Theology). He is on the Executive
of Christians in Caring Professions. He is currently researching
and writing and has a special interest in developing a Christian
approach to primal integration. He is married to Ruth, a paediatric
physiotherapist, and they have three adult children.
Jane
Potts is a medical doctor who worked for the NHS as a Psychiatrist in a Child& Adolescent Mental Health Service and a Postnatal Depression Clinic. She has a special interest in trauma and abuse and is an Accredited Practitioner in the use of Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). She also uses Sensorimotor Psychotherapy in the treatment of trauma.
Jane is currently studying for an MA in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy. She has been a group leader on Deep Release Weekends for many years. She is involved in prayer ministry in her local church and Shalom Christian Healing Centre. She is also on the Pastoral Team of Spring Harvest. She is married to Stephen and has 2 adult children..
Clare
Suffield (B.A.Hons, M.A.[Integrative Arts Psychotherapy], Diploma in Group Therapy, ACC accredited, UKCP registered), is an accredited counsellor and supervisor and offers
training in Christian counselling at Central Counselling Service
in Southampton. She is a trustee for Positive Parenting and offers
training for their Special Needs programme. She is involved in the
women's outreach programme in her church and has offered training
for the Get Real discipleship programme. Clare has been involved
in Deep Release ministries for over ten years. She is married to
Mervyn and they have three adult children and live in Southampton
where they attend the Community Church.

Cross has a private counselling practice in Ashtead.
Kit
Eglinton is an accredited Christian counsellor holding a Diploma in Counselling. He lives in Devon with his
wife Fiona and two daughters
For many years he served as policeman in London both in uniform
and in Child Protection. He has also worked with Open
Doors in the Middle East. Kit is an experienced yacht builder
and skipper but currently works in software development with 'Saltshakers'.
Vicky Smith is an accredited Counsellor with the Association of Christian Counsellors. She has a Diploma in Counselling and has been working in her own private practice for over 10 years. She is a Supervisor and Trainer, and a Deep Release facilitator and Coordinator of the Essex Regional Training Group. She has a passion to see people grow and walk in their healing.
She uses many different models of counselling and has a wide experience in the Deep Release methods of working.
Julie Timm has been working in counselling for the last nine years, the last 3 incorporating a Deep Release style and model into her work. She is an accredited counsellor with the ACC at level 3 and also an accredited supervisor and has a real passion for helping people to be the best they can be in all areas of life.
Jacqui Marsden, an ACC Level 3 accredited counsellor and member of the BACP, has a Diploma in Clinical and Pastoral Counselling. She has been working as a counsellor for a large church in Herts as part of their leadership team for the past 4-5 years. She is married to Mark, and they have 3 teenage children. Jacqui used to work as a Registered Nurse, and is originally from Cape Town, South Africa.
They emigrated to the UK in January 1991. Personal interests include nature photography, reading and swimming. Areas of professional interest include Inner Child work, primal integration, the use of creative therapies and the overlap between spiritual and emotional issues. She has been increasingly involved with Deep Release over the last few years, and is a registered DR practitioner.
Julia Acott lives and works in East London, and is the founder director of Alternatives Counselling Centre (www.altel.org.uk ) and the Careconfidential Helpline and Online Advisor Counselling Manager (www.careconfidential.com ). She has a Diploma in Counselling and a PG certificate in Pastoral Theology, is a member of the Association for Pre-and Perinatal Psychology and Health and has practical experience of counselling for the last 30 years.
Her fascination for pre and peri-natal trauma led to her involvement with Deep Release counselling 8 years ago, and she has developed Deep Release work within her practice. She is a member of the Support Team for Care Centres Network and is a trainer and supervisor with them. Julia has been married to Steve since 1976, and has four children and 2 grandchildren. She has a music degree, plays various instruments and believes that her involvement with music enhances her ability to listen beneath the surface of people's lives.
Deep
Release Regional Training Days take place around the country
at approximately 6-week intervals. These exciting days provide an
opportunity to meet other Deep Release counsellors in your area
and practise skills in a safe and stimulating atmosphere. You will
receive training in a variety of Deep Release facilitation skills,
including working with the Inner Child, 'duvet work', creative tools
and many other aspects, working with case studies and on live material
arising out of the group. The course lasts approximately 5 hours(times
vary) and the cost of the training is £35 per person, £60
per couple
