Women’s Health Problems in the Counselling Room

Do you sometimes wonder whether your clients’ experiences are more related to their hormones than to psychological problems?  During the course of a woman’s life there are many changes in her hormonal state which can have a significant impact on her mental state. Aspects of the reproductive years bring about major change too – think of childbirth and menopause for example.  This workshop will encourage exploration of the impact of these changes and will include specific reference to postnatal depression and psychosis, and gynaecological problems associated with the middle years of a woman’s life.   An unmissable day!
